How to get true reciprocal link?

When a webmaster starts to get a reciprocal link, the best way is to send an email to other webmaster sites and deal for link exchange. Another way, the easiest is to use an automatic link exchange service, example, linkshighway.net, linkdiary.com, etc. Unfortunately sometimes you can not get any value from these services. Why do I say that? I’m not discrediting these sites but when you deal with other sites, you must check that they really link back to your site and search engines can recognize their links.

Exchanging links with webmasters who are not reciprocating properly is of no value to your site. True reciprocal link exchange is of great value. You can validate outgoing links as a spider sees it by using a Search Engine Simulator  This service will show you what a search engine robot will see on the site.

I have even read some seo blogs that said that the reciprocal link had died. From my experience working on customer’s websites, the reciprocal link is still important for search engine ranking. All my above mentioned methods will take more time but it will increase your sites link popularity.
